moong dal pakora

Ingredients:-
1 cup moong dal, soaked for an hour
4-5 green chilies 
1-2 inch ginger
2 tsp cumin seeds, crushed
1 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 cup onions, finely chopped
1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
2 cups oil for frying
salt to taste
 

Method:-
1. Drain the water used for soaking moong dal and now coarsely grind moong dal along with green chilies and ginger.
2. In a bowl empty the ground moon dal and add crushed cumin seeds, turmeric powder, finely chopped onions, cilantro and salt to taste to the mix. Mix well. 
3. Heat oil (on medium heat) for frying in a wok. Once the oil is hot, drop a spoonful of mixture into the hot oil and fry moong dal pakora until golden brown.
4. Fry pakora in batches and serve them hot with green chutney and chai on the side.
