Buttered Popcorn

 


Method:
1. In a large kadhai or a dutch oven, heat 2-3 tbsp of oil.
2. Add 1 tsp of turmeric powder and salt to taste.
3. Sauté for a few seconds and add 1/2 cup of kernels to this.
4. Cover the kadhai or the dutch oven, and let the kernels pop-up on medium heat. 
5. Kernels will start to pop up in a couple of minutes.
6. It will take 2-3 minutes for the kernels to pop up. Once the popping sound stops, move the kadhai from the heat to prevent the popcorn from burning.
