Cookbooks

I like reading my cookbook like a storybook, a novel, if i may say so. I am curious and enjoy reading everything about the author. Imagining what the author must’ve been thinking when coming up with a recipe. It’s just so much fun to learn the little things. Love for cookbooks or cooking, not sure what came to me first😄 but I enjoy them both. Give me a cookbook and give me the ingredients and voila expect nothing but magic🪄I have a hugeeeeee collection of cookbooks in every format possible .. paperback/ hardcover/ coffee table books / kindle and the list goes on.  I will be sharing with you all here. Please be patient since I have only gotten started ❤️

My cooking experiments started with watching @sanjeevkapoor👩‍🍳 #khazanaofindianrecipes on @zeetv . I have been collecting his cookbooks since 2000; the year I got married. I remember how excited I was to have this khazana on my kitchen bookshelf 📚 This particular recipe “Shaam Savera” was such a hit back then- everyone wanted to try it out. I have tried it out a couple of times when in India 🇮🇳. I’m thinking I’m going to make it again- hopefully soon!

This cookbook by #madhurjaffrey is for simple and easy cookimng. 📕 Everything that I have cooked from this book so far has turned out simply superb, hands down! This one is from my mother’s treasure chest 🎁 from her cookbook collection ❤️ Most of the books by Mahur Jaffrey are from my mum's collection of cookbooks.
