❤️Valentine’s Day - love is in the air, aha! And amidst this, how do you recommend a series/ documentary to someone on heartbreaking and a painfully grim topic?
We watched Dahaad and Wedding.con @amazonprime on the same day of its release. Beyond the subject of pressures of getting married, it leaves one thinking on how this pressure not only affects specific individuals, but communities around as well. How does one explain this to someone, especially the parents, that marrying away their kids should not be their ultimate goal in life, after education and a fulfilling career? And that the pressure of getting married may lead to unfortunate consequences?
Dahaad and Wedding.con both tap into what it’s like to grapple with and understand something completely beyond one’s thinking. How do you process a subject like this? It’s a thought provoking series/ documentary which I would highly recommend everyone to watch!
On this Valentine’s day to those who are single - I just hope you don’t think being single is judged, stigmatized, criticized, looked down upon, or made fun of. Such series are an eye opener for those who might feel it’s their poor luck not finding their Mr.Right, while Curry and Cyanide showed us the consequences of falling for not so Ms. Right.
That’s all from my end to whoever needs to read this! I hope you never get tricked into violins playing in the background! Remember, it might just be a setup, a drama setup drama ðŸŽ
