A night to remember (Filmfare Awards Night )

It would only be fair to say that, From watching a live Filmfare Awards night on TV to a recorded and edited version of awards -we all grew up 🍿

One of the many reasons why the 90s will always be close to my heart🥹
It’s very difficult to just pen down so many beautiful memories into what? A few sentences here? Not possible, but m we shall try!
I remember my mother and her friends making plans on actually watching the Filmfare Awards together, when they’d first read about it in the newspapers then. This was the first time Filmfare Awards Night was going to go live on TV. They were excited and as kids in our preteens and a few teenagers we were looking forward to watching this breathtakingly magical night with the stars, since we’d read and heard so much about it. There was one rule we’d made amongst us friends. While watching the awards there was no blinking allowed 🥰 J/K. We’d also bet on who’d take the black lady home that night 🌟 It wasn’t much about the performances we’d look forward to. It was that one glimpse of our favorite actor that took our breath away. What they wore, whom they were seated next to, the glances they shared, the little nuances- oh my god, these stayed with us for so long. Whoever missed it, we made sure we did the video recording, on our VCR, only to watch it all over again! Those were the times - and we’ll keep documenting the memories here❤️

Dare to share your fondest Filmfare memories, if any!?🍿
Do you feel the same excitement as you used to? I ask myself - and yes, I do ☺️We’re going to try our best to recreate the 90s vibe- just because #filmy #veryfilmyme 🥰
Needless to say, looking forward to #69thfilmfareawards2024 📺
Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday- do what makes you happy!
