Abundant freshness in the air along with the rains, made monsoon one of the best seasons growing up in Pune 🇮🇳 It was August of 1994, and the weather had been exceptionally amazing in our good old Pune for a week or so with no hint of rain clouds, and every chance of sunshine. We were at a coffeehouse and everyone seemed to be enjoying vada pao, samosa pao, chai, gappa-tappa, and the gorgeous weather, just when Shantanu glanced at his watch and muttered “20 minutes late, very unlike her.” He had mentioned about her, and most of us wondered whether she was only a part of his imagination.
