Peeth perun mirchi (roasted gram flour, capsicum stir-fry)

On a hot summer day, there is nothing more cooling and tasty than a tall glass of taak (buttermilk)accompanied by Peeth Perun Mirchi for lunch!!

Peeth perun mirchi or peeth perleli mirchi (roasted gram flour, capsicum stir-fry) is always a great idea! Easy and quick 👩‍🍳

I’m not really a huge fan of quick, zatpat cooking (remember the ati ghaai quote😬) I know!! I believe, since cooking is an art form, it has to be expressive, whenever possible 📌 Also, I remember, long back I’d read something about cooking is culinary intuition. So if you’re ready with your ingredients, set-up, etc, then there’s no need for the zatpat cooking is what the article meant. Organized or not? I don’t know!
Again, there are no rules (please .. please relax that tension in your body now, please) .. and yeah, follow your heart and do what makes you happy ❤️

II followed my cravings and made this peeth perun mirchi (roasted gram flour, capsicum stir-fry) for lunch. The name doesn’t have that fancy ring to it, but oh my I just love that easy twist burnt garlic and chopped scallions brings to this. While we enjoy our lunch with a tall glass of taak (buttermilk) 😋 you all get ready for the weekend 🍻 Don’t we love weekends 😉
